How long is the Cisco Certification Valid?
Cisco certifications remain valid for three years from passing the exam. If you recertify yourself by meeting the required recertification criteria, your current certificate’s validity gets extended for another three years.
Within the three years, you do not need to put in an effort to keep it active. However, if you wish to keep it active beyond this period for an additional three years, you have to undergo the recertification process.
You can recertify by earning continuing education credits, passing the same certification exam again, taking the higher-level exam, or combining taking the exam and CE credits.
